22nd December 2009,
Motorcyclist dies on Federal Highway near Carrefour Subang, colided with a lorry.
Who's fault? Was the motorcyclist supposed to be on the Federal Highway in the first place?
The poor lorry driver will probably going to jail for not offending traffic rules...

Big Car, Small Brains?
Yeah, so I was driving down on the way to work vis the Federal Highway and saw a HUGE Lexus 460 driving like its his grandfather's road, or may be it is?
First video, I was trying to catch him changing lanes without signals. Number plate was WNY 3. I ended up seeing a dumb motorcyclist idling in the middle of the fast lane. Number plate BKK 4412. Well, what if one of us bangs the motorcycist?
As for the second video, the white Lexus was caught red handed :D.
Well, people build their business from scratch, and get a car this huge. BUT, where's the manners? Where's the brains that tells you SIGNALS ARE CREATED TO BE USED, not created to 'pai leng' or as an optional item!?
Seriously, all car manufacturers should make indicators or signals as an optional item on all cars. This way, they can save cost on the lamps, bulbs, wiring, switches, fuses.
Smart idea? I think not

Jam without reasons?
Does it not piss you off when you get stuck in a jam and crawled 2km in forty minutes?
This was what happened when I paid the last NPE toll at PJS2 and was heading home passing Sunway Pyramid. JAM! JAM! JAM!!!!! Yes, got stuck there for forty precious minutes and, only to realise that there wasnt any jam after the Kewajipan Roundabout.
Basically, everyone was cutting from the fast lane to the far left lane as usual. Inconsiderate and dumb as usual, causing other motorists behind them to slow down and wait for them to idle over to the far left.
Dumb isnit it?

Motorists without signals
Does it not piss you off when you see a ca rin front of you idling in the middle of the road, changing lanes as they like, without flashing their signals indicating that they're gonna change lanes?
Your grandfather's road?

Cops record statement from doctor
JOHOR BARU: A specialist who claimed a policeman had falsely accused her of talking on her mobile phone while driving has given her statement to the police.
Johor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said the statement was recorded soon after the case of the woman, who only wished to be known as Dr Tan, was brought to his attention.
“I will ensure that a thorough investigation is conducted,” he said.
It was previously reported that Dr Tan from a specialist hospital here was taken aback when a policeman falsely accused her of talking on her mobile phone while she was driving to work at about 8.45am on Nov 26.
The uniformed policeman stopped her and accused her of the offence which she claimed she did not commit.
DCP Mohd Mokhtar added that he did not take such matters lightly, and if the claim was true, strict action would be taken against the police personnel involved.

Thirty Minute Delivery / Accident with a Motorcyclist
Pizza companies nowadays commit themselves to fast delivery. Normally within thirty odd minutes or the buyer gets a free regular pizza voucher to be used in their next purchase. Indeed, they do deliver their promise and pizza in thirty minute.
But wait! Behind the scenes :
Their despatches are seen riding their motorcycles around recklessly like dogs unleashed loose after ages of being chained up. You can literally see them jumping red lights, zig zagging through traffic like nobody's business. They jump lights ALL the time. Yes, i repeat, not most of the time, but all the time!
They think that they and their vehicles are so small, that they need not obey the law. Whenever they see a red light, they look left, right, and cross without waiting for the light to turn green.
This doesnt just apply to pizza delivery guys, but also a large handful of regular motorcyclists. They think they're the king of the road eh?
When we drive our cars, cross the green lights, we just pop one of them and mow them down unintentionally. And who's fault it is? Our fault?
The motorcylist will obviously tell their fellow police officers that they got their priorities and should be given way to. They'd also tell their fellow officers that we were the ones that jumped the lights.
The same thing happened to me once somewhere in PJ, when I got hit by a motorcyclist and it so-happened to be my fault? HAHAHAHA!!
Please refer to the below picture :

As the picture illustrates, I was making my way out of the junction, crawling popping my head out to see if there are cars from either side of the road. It was jammed, as per yellow boxes showed. Fortunately, one car gave way to me.
So I slowly drove out, still looking out for cars. The next thing I knew, BANG!
A motorcyclist went straight into my front right fender.
He went onto the other side of the road overtaking the whole jam and wanting to make a right turn into the junction where I was coming out from.
He was uncooperative and said it was his 'jalan utama', as in it was his right.
So yeah, we both went to lodge a police report, and the cop blindly said that it was my fault, jumping to conclusion without even investigating. There were even skid marks on the wrong side of the road from the tracks of the motorcyclists tires.
The cop said 'siapa jalan terus?', as in, 'who was the one going straight?'.
I told the cop that he was on the wrong side of the road and he replied to me and said that the motorcyclist can go on the wrong side of the road anytime as there were dotted lines.
I was like, 'WHAT!? So you are saying that he was on the wrong side of the road and therefore causing the accident, and you, saying that it isnt his fault!?'
He just replied and said that it was my fault for coming out of the junction and not looking out for oncoming vehicles.
Where is the law? Where is the initiative to do thourough investigations before issuing summons!?
After the arguement it was already in the afternoon. I took off with an agreement that I will pay for the motor's damages which I estimate to be RM200-300 or so. The guy was cocky and wanted his bike to be repaired all the way in Sentul, which was inconvenient for me to go to, to pay the bill. At approximately 5pm, he told me that the damages are a whopping RM500-600plus. Breakdown was like; bent fork, bent rim, bent this bent this broken this that, fender, and shits.
So I told him, meet at the police station. The cop issued me a summon. Says that the motorcyclist will claim against my insurance.
I wasnt happy and therefore took to to somebody's aunt who has a position in the BAR council on the following day. She got the Deputy Public Prosecutor to review the summon, summoned the cop to his office, and spoke to the cop. End of the day, the summon was cancelled and my insurance was untouched.
However, I'm still not satisfied that the motorcyclist got away so easily, and the lazy cop is still holding onto his job.
End of Story

RuleBreakerS 2!
One fine day, a trip down to PJ, via Jalan Universiti going for lunch in Section 17.
Goin for lunch.
What do you see below?

As you all know, this is a traffic light after the Jalan Universiti flyover, turning into section 17. Only one lane is allowed to turn in, both of the other left lanes are meant to go straight towards the Rothmas roundabout. So, what is that white Jazz doing there? Cutting queue?
He did two mistakes, 1. Cut queue, 2. No signal.
He was inconsiderate enough to let other cars wait for him to turn where as they wanted to go straight. The poor drivers behind him had to wait for him to cut into my lane. Therefore, causing traffic jam! Is this picture enough of a proof to issue him a summon? View the background of the picture, you know which traffic light im talking about.
Going back from lunch.

Picture above was taken on the same day as I went for lunch. It was on a Friday afternoon. There is a Surau or Mosque located on the roadside of Jalan Universiti at UITM(I think its UITM). All cars parked illegally by the roadside for prayers. One hour after the picture was taken, a three lane road was reduced to a single lane road causing traffic jam going up towards the flyover. PEOPLE WERE TRIPLE PARKING!!
You can literally see their thick faces when they park their vehicles by the roadside. The come down, showing their thick faces not realising what they did wrong. How dumb can they be?
Another thing is, where are the authorities? Where is MBPJ to issue them summons for parking illegally by the road side where there is no parking boxes?
Is this a situation where all Malaysian Laws do not take effect when there are Muslim Prayers? no offense to the muslims, but the authorities should take action whenever traffic is obstructed due to illegal parking.
Problem : Authorities do not take action whenever in desperate need to.
Solution : Take action?
Goin for lunch.

RuleBreakerS!
SO, maybe or maybe not everyone is complaining about the roads in our country. Well, look at the picture below and tell me what do you see?

Yes indeed, heavy vehicles on the middle lane, or not, worse, the fast lane. Well, there are numerous signs on major highways in the Klang Valley saying that 'Kenderaan Berat Ikut Kiri'. This means that heavy vehicles are meant to stay on the left lane, aka slow lane. However, these drivers are ignorant, hogging the middle lane and fast lane, thus causing traffic jams on highways. This is one major reason why some fast lanes on highways come to a standstill at times. This includes the Federal Highway and Sungai Besi Highway.
They pose danger to other motorists.
Problems : Lorries (and slow cars) hogging middle and fast lane.
Suggested Solution : The police should monitor and patrol the highways, pulling over these vehicles, and not those who are 20-30km/h above the speed limit.

Are the Cops doing their job?
Past two days, the cops were standing around, during the daytime around the roads in KL (this is a good sign lol) though they could be positioned at better places such as PJ area. There was a lockup at the Rothmas roundabout in PJ and there weren't any cops to control the traffic there. Oh how it took me ages to reach to me favourite pork mee in Sea Park from me office :(.
The cops are also conducting roadblocks everywhere during the night and performing random checks on certain cars that looks suspicious. I got held up in Kuchai Lama as well. Searched my whole car and found nothing fortunately.
Speed traps and issuing speeding summonses on the spot at hotspots around the country is a good idea, but how many of them are issued with 'real' summonses? If you get what I mean.
Pros : People stop driving recklessly when they see cops around
Cons : Pocket Monehhhhhh
Solution : Suggest that the higher authorities reward these goons with incentives for every summon issued to motorists. Higher incentives for summonses that involves lane hogging, lane changing without indicators, and reckless driving.
Speeding should not be an issue when one does not drive recklessly (zig zagging in and out of traffic). They should be considered two different categories.

Jams at the Federal Highway
Every morning in the weekdays when we go to work,
Every evening in the weekdays when we come back from work,
We face traffic JAMS!!

I dont understand why would the traffic on the fast lane come to a stand still when the Federal Highway is actually a HIGHWAY.
Below are a few reasons and i think that the traffic authorities should install CCTVs or increase more police patrols because :
1. Inconsiderate drivers hog the fast lane at 60km/h or so.
2. The try to change lanes from the fast lane to the lane nearest to their exits no further than 300metres from the exit.
3. People changing lanes without indicators.
These are only three out of a million reasons that the Federal Highway is jammed up; especially at hotspots such as :
-Subang area towards Jalan 222 ; it will be jam-free for no reason onwards form there.
-Old Klang Road/Cheras Exit towards Bangsar ; will be jam-free for no reason onwards from the Sprint Highway Exit and vic versa.
Can anyone do anything about this?
What i suggest : Implicate a 'piece of law' into the books where cars can be summoned for lane hogging.. if it isnt implicated yet.

Welcome!
Dear Readers,
Welcome to my newly created blog. As per blog address and whats written on top of the window, is it possible that Malaysia being a better place?
In this blog, religion and other social classes must take a back seat, national interest comes first. However vigorous championing of viewpoints are encouraged but without stepping on religious and racial tipping points.
This blog is to voice out the problems that are damaging the reputation of our country. I am hoping that my coming posts will reach out to the government and ministers in order for them to look at this from a rakyat's point of view and to make neccesary amendments.
Cheers,
